Selling a wide range of speciality foods, Juhlès has always sold wine to accompany their spices and cheeses. Recently, however, the owner has seen that beer has become a popular food pairing alternative.
In particular, notes Nicolas, it is the larger 75cl beers that are sought after. He believes this is because these bigger bottles are ideal for sharing and have a ritualistic nature that is similar to wine.
